How much does it cost to have a website?

Not as much as you might think. The answer to this question is twofold: The upfront cost and the hosting cost.

Upfront Cost: The complete cost of designing and uploading your website to the internet. The complete cost ranges, depending on the complexity of your design, the number of pages, the content, etc.  It is possible to have a simple website for as little as $300.  

Hosting Cost: Hosting is what companies charge for holding your website files on the internet. Your website can typically be hosted for about $5.00 a month, and this price includes email.

Can you make custom websites?

Yes, we customize every website we produce. Your website can be made to look any way you want it to look. We can also design a logo for your company, if needed. If there is a certain ‘look’ that you have in mind, show it to us and we’ll start designing your custom website. If you can put the design on paper, we can put it on the web! Help! My website needs updated!

If you are not currently a client, please Contact Us so we can discuss your needs and take care of you as quickly as possible. If you are a current Graham Web Solutions client, please email updates to us. Once received, we will implement the updates as soon as possible, typically within 48 hours for small changes. Depending on the complexity of the change, such as a major site rebuild, the updates could take longer. You will be notified by email as soon as your change has been implemented.

How long does it take before my site is listed on the search engines?

Once your site is submitted, it can take 1 – 2 months before your site shows up on search engines. Once we submit your site, the search engine receives a request to log your site. Search engine companies receive thousands of these requests daily. If you would like to have faster results, you may want to consider submitting your site to a paid search engine, such as Google AdWords.

I would like a different/new domain name. Where do I find one?

We recommend using Go Daddy for domain names and hosting. You can search for, and purchase, your own domain name by using Go Daddy’s website. You may get a cheaper rate with Go Daddy if you purchase your hosting and domain name on the same transaction. Contact Us if you would like assistance with this process.

Can I transfer my domain name from the current registrar?

Although we prefer to work with Go Daddy for ease of use, we are willing to work with whoever currently has your domain name. If you do want to transfer your domain to Go Daddy, you will begin by creating a new customer account with Go Daddy. You can then request a domain transfer on Go Daddy's website. What is your hourly rate?

Our work time is divided into 15-minute increments. Work time includes talking with you by phone, reading and answering your emails, tracking and documenting your changes, and any other time spent meeting your needs. Our current rates are:
